X-dimension: Frontiers in Engineering Science Forum

Hosted by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, the University of Hong Kong, this forum aims to break down traditional disciplinary boundaries and deeply explore the increasingly prominent trends of cross-scale phenomena and multidisciplinary integration in engineering science. The conference is co-founded and chaired by Professor David Srolovitz, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Hong Kong, together with Professor Zhigang Suo and Professor Gang Chen. In response to the engineering science challenges of the new era, this forum is dedicated to bringing together leading scholars and pioneering industry experts from around the world to share strategic research breakthroughs and forward-looking academic insights. This event not only serves as a vital opportunity to discuss innovative interdisciplinary achievements but also provides an international platform for participating scholars and emerging young researchers to explore the dimensions of the future development of engineering science and inspire cutting-edge ideas.
